Students can be admitted to doctoral studies after passing the entrance exam consisting of two parts: one concentrating on English language skills and the other on a specific study and research area. In the admission process the results from previous studies and other additional activities (e.g. scientific-technical activities, etc.) will also be considered.
Both parts of the examination will be held at the same time in front of an examination board. To pass the English language exam the applicant is supposed to present a framework project on the theme of their dissertation project in English.
The specialization exam consists of an oral verification of the applicant’s knowledge about the given field of studies (the theme of the dissertation thesis) and their aptitude for successful studies within the specialization.
The Examination Board will also consider additional activities of the applicant, e.g. participation in competitions such as the Student Scientific Conference, or in international student conferences as well as their publishing activities.
The Examination Board will prepare a list of order of applicants for each study programme. This order will be based on the achieved points from the English language exam, the specialization exam, the results from their previous studies, and for other additional activities.
