- hydropower (hydroelectric power plants and related facilities)
- waterways and navigation (navigation objects, modifications of rivers for navigation)
- hydraulic regime of surface waters (especially the effectiveness of flood control measures, capacity of riverbeds and objects on them)
- hydraulic regime of groundwater (in particular the assessment of the impact of measures in the country for the groundwater regime)
- optimization of the hydrotechnical strucutres operation
