Department of Building Services

The Department of Building Services lectures on subjects such as Technical Equipment of Buildings, Internal Water and Gas Pipelines, Internal Drainage, TEB Machine Equipment, Ventilation, Heating, Air-Conditioning, Measuring and Regulation, Energy Supply of Buildings and Energy Management in Buildings.
Research supported by a measurement and computer laboratory focuses on water conservation, rationalization of energy consumption in buildings, the indoor climate of buildings, modernisation of heating systems, air and moisture energy transfer, progressive heating systems in buildings, and environmental and energy evaluation of sanitary and air-conditioning systems for renewal. The department participates in life-long education programme consisting of post-graduate professional courses and seminars.
The Department of Building Services participates on implementation of EU standards into Slovak technology legislation. It performs expert's activities in the field of energy assessment, energy supply and designing building installations.
