Given the currently set epidemic measures for universities and due to the ongoing renovation and modernization of our faculty building, which is associated with the renovation of most lecture rooms and classrooms, we would like to announce that teaching in the winter semester of the academic year 2021/2022 begins with distance learning (online). We will prepare a gradual transition to full-time teaching within the framework of pandemic and construction restrictions and we will inform about it in due time.
The new anti-pandemic measures, of which we were informed only recently, greatly limit us to the number of students in classrooms (only 50 per cent of capacity, but max. 20 students in one room). At the same time, despite our great efforts, the deadline for completion of construction work and handover of the building to use has been postponed. The reason was the cessation of production in the spring months due to the pandemic and also the delay in the supply of building materials from abroad.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you, hopefully soon, in the renovated premises of our faculty.
