In the 13th year of the competition, the Engineering Prize was won by Ing. Adam Horák and an honorary mention was received by another graduate of the faculty, Ing. Dominik Laššo.
In the national competition, a professional jury evaluated diploma theses in the field of building and engineering design, technical, technological and energy equipment of buildings. The evaluation criteria were originality, uniqueness and progressiveness of the solution, creative approach to the problem being solved and complexity of the solution.
The winner of the 2024 Engineering Prize was Ing. Adam Horák with the work Lookout Tower on the Sokol Hill near Ilava, led by Dr. Ján Brodniansky from the Department of Metal and Wooden Structures.
