On the occasion of International Students' Day, rector of STU, professor Oliver Moravčík traditionally awarded the best students of the university. Among those who received awards on November 20th, 2024, there were seven students of the SvF of STU.
The "Student of the Year" award is given in eight categories, namely for excellent academic results in individual levels of study, for research results, for the best academic mobility, for representing the university in the field of art or sports, or for extraordinary activity in the development and promotion of STU. The award is also associated with a reward in the form of an extraordinary or motivational scholarship. 37 students from all faculties and institutes of STU have won the award.
