Požiadavky ku skúške z anglického jazyka v rámci doktorandského štúdia
Skúška prebieha v anglickom jazyku.
The PhDs are supposed to read/study 100 pages of a technical text(s) related to their planned thesis. They can ask their advisor for assistance in what topic to choose.
For the first exam (Odborná angličtina 1) they should write a small biography (1 page or so) and their CV. They have to give a brief talk about their studies and future professional plans and an introduction to the 100 pages they have chosen.
For the second exam (Odborná angličtina 2), they should do a 15-minute Powerpoint presentation based on the 100 pages but the week BEFORE their presentation, they should provide a 5-page summary of the presentation and a separate page(s) with the technical vocabulary they learned from the 100 pages.
